It finally happened! I graduated from PA school! Looking back it feels like it went by so fast, but it didn’t always feel fast in the moment.
I take my boards (the PANCE) on Saturday and, as soon as I get my license from the state, I will begin work at a rural medicine clinic (more about that in a later post).
To sum up the last two years (or 26 months) I will say this: It was hard. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
The amount of material I have learned is still unbelievable. Sometimes I think “how did I know that?” It really does all start to click at some point. Fortunately, I have many more years (God willing) to learn even more and to become an even better clinician.
I love the career I’ve chosen and I can’t wait to get started.
I couldn’t have done any of this without the love, prayers and support from so many.
What a ride.
